Bear Mountain Metal Art is based in Fort Collins, Colorado and operated by artist Bobby Singleton. The unique color on this artwork is created by naturally aging the steel for more than 8 weeks to achieve an all-natural, rustic-colored patina with beautiful accents of brown and copper. The design is then drawn on the steel and cut out with a hand-held plasma cutter. The piece is finished with three layers of automotive clear coat, completely sealing in the patina. The end result is a one-of-a-kind showpiece.

Bobby’s inspiration comes from his many years of exploring Colorado’s backcountry and observing the abundant wildlife in the area. To see how Bobby does his work, please scroll down to the video in the “About” area of his Etsy shop here:

Bear Mountain Metal Art can also make larger artwork, custom pieces, and even company logos on request. Keep an eye on this shop, as many new items are on the way!

The item looks good, it was a little warped because the metal gauge was very thin. Shipping method was intuitive. The rusty patena could’ve been powder coated but it looks great above the TV.

Beautiful work of art. Shipped so quickly, can’t wait to get it hung in our backyard!

Very colorful, great product. Quick delivery.

2nd item I have purchased from seller but extremely disappointed with packaging this time. Two inches were sticking outside of the cardboard wrapping and bent 180 degrees. Same technique was used to protect the artwork but obviously done in a rush. Hopefully for seller this is an isolated incident.

This metal wall sculpture is absolutely stunning! Even more amazing in person! It arrived quickly and carefully packaged! We have vacationed in AZ for decades! We love the Phoenix red sandstone desert mountains, especially the Superstitions! This sculpture accents our Edward S. Curtis 1904 Canyon de Chelly photo of the Navajo below. Now we can enjoy these beautiful cliffs right here in our Colorado living room! (This is our 37 year anniversary gift to each other!) Truly an artistic masterpiece! Thank you!
